We follow the adventures of Bernal Diaz Del Castillo one the men who went into Mexico with Cortes. This episode we find out what happens when Castillo arrives in Panama and faces a plague. In episode three of The History Pot, the host finishes the Jugurthine War, framing Rome’s struggle as a “Vietnam”-style guerrilla conflict. Massiva’s bid for Numidia is cut short when Jugurtha has him assassinated in Rome, leading to Jugurtha’s expulsion and renewed war. Spurius Albinus leaves his brother Aulus in command; Aulus disastrously pursues Jugurtha, is trapped, surrenders, and his army is humiliated under the yoke. Quintus Caecilius Metellus restores discipline, defeats Jugurtha in battle.
